Posco was awarded the 11st Information Protection Award on December 17th, sponsored by Korea Communications Commission and hosted by Korea Internet & Security Agency.

The Information Protection Award is given the group that is selected from domestic companies that highly contributed to protecting information and raising the awareness of such protection.

Posco newly recognized the importance of information assets in Jan 2004 and centralized all work products to document management for better efficiency and unified delivery process.

The company also makes efforts in making information protection a norm in everyday activities and increasing security mindsets of employees.

In addition, security inspections are also customized internally.
